Analog Noise Generators - Manual
|
NC6000A/8000A
The NC6000A and NC8000A Series instruments are
designed for general-purpose noise applications on the
bench, or in a rack test station. The manual controls make it
simple to operate and reduce test set up time. The standard
output power NC6000 is typically used for BER, and SNR
applications, while the high power NC8000 is a good
candidate for secure signal jamming.

UFX7000A
The UFX7000A Series instruments provide Broadband Gaussian noise with superior flatness. The output power can be attenuated up to 127 dB in 1 dB steps, and several connector types are available. The UFX7000A Series flexible architecture allows several
options, including an internal combiner, 0.1 dB attenuation steps, and internal switches for up to 4 filter paths.

PNG7000
The PNG7000A Series instruments generate white Gaussian
noise and provide a summing input to control signal-to-noise
(SNR) or carrier-to-noise (CNR) for bit-error-ratio (BER)
testing. A key feature of this instrument is its low distortion signal path that sums the
user-supplied signal with the internal precision white noise source.
Optional DC coupling allows adding noise directly to a digital TTL, ECL type signal.

J7000A
The J7000A Series instruments high crest factor output
is used as a random jitter source for serial data bus applications, including
PCI Express Gen I & II, Serial ATA, and Fiber Channel.
The noise source is designed for the PCI-SIG total jitter (Tj) model
serial data application, but can be used for any random jitter noise application.
The summing input can control signal-to-noise (SNR) or
carrier-to-noise (CNR) for bit-error-ratio (BER) testing
similar to other Noise Com instruments

UFX EbNo
The UFX-EbNo is a fully automated precision signal to noise generator that sets,
and maintains a highly accurate ratio between a user supplied carrier and internally
generated noise, over a wide range of signal power levels and frequencies.
The UFX-EbNo gives system, design, and test engineers in the
telecommunications industry a single tool to generate precision signal
to noise ratios.
