Noise and interference testing on GPS navigation equipment is becoming increasingly important because of aviation, automobile, and emergency location usage of this equipment. Many people depend on this location information for business, pleasure, and emergency situations. Noisecom's digital GPS signal generators effectively test products based on today's standards. The GPS7500 instrument is specifically designed for testing RCTA D0-229, 235, and 253 aviation interference immunity standards, while the E911 can be programmed to input interference from common communication bands, like CDMA, WiFi, and 3G. The Noisecom programmable generators are capable of generating up to a 40 MHz wide noise or interference band for GPS receiver susceptibility testing. The Large 8.4 " color display contains unit block diagrams and tabular signal value inputs that make the creation of signals simple and intuitive. The digital noise generators can store many user defined noise and interference patterns on an internal hard disk. Modular capability provides for expansion with additional independent AWG plug-in cards for the GPS, Galileo, or GLONASS signal bands.
